Spawn (King Spawn)

Spawn (King Spawn) commission I did a while back in November.
I never posted the final, so Here's the Final version-
Ink and Markers on 11 x 17in Bristol board

-I hope I did this character some justice. The Original page has silver pens for the chains and creates an effect of them receding into space in shadow and shining forward in the glare of light!

Because the Spawn comics were such an impactful experience in my childhood and reading my brothers Spawn comics, I really took a Lot of extra time on this commission to make it good enough that if Todd McFarlane ever saw, he would appreciate the effort and tons of details I put into it. It’s also a nod to another artist ;Jon Elliot (whose composition I used for inspiration of his cape taking on wing shapes. )
